BVI Balanced Saline Solution is a sterile isotonic salt solution supplied in a 25 mL single-use plastic bottle for use during ophthalmic procedures.
What it's used for
Irrigation during eye surgery. The 25 mL bottle suits cases where a small volume is needed at the field rather than a bottled infusion line, so it is commonly kept as theatre stock alongside larger 250 mL and 500 mL presentations.
