User studies have shown iV-Vet® to be highly effective for IV treatment of horses, and because the device follows the animal, there is no need for IV stands or ceiling fittings in the box.
Based on the mechanism of the innovative and patented iV-GO®, the iV-Vet® is a system to modernize IV-treatment within the veterinary field. The iV-Vet® device applies constant mechanical, battery free pressure on the IV bag, thereby enabling it to deliver treatment in a more flexible way.
iV-Vet® is housed in a waterproof bag, which can be attached to adjustable straps to accommodate the size of different animals. iV-Vet® can be used on most four legged animals from 10 kg and up. Animals often become fearful and unsafe during examinations or when receiving treatment, which can lead to some dangerous situations for both animals and staff. The animal can move freely, and after surgery the animal can be kept active without worrying about IV tubes or the ongoing treatment.
