The Migrating Integrator combines a steam and temperature-sensitive chemical pellet with a paper wick in a laminate. As sterilization occurs, the pellet melts, creating a visible bar that moves along the wick, indicating ACCEPT or REJECT status based on sterilization conditions, which vary with steam quality, time, and temperature.
