The Chazalion Curette is a specialised device that ophthalmic surgeons commonly use to remove cysts, chalazion and other masses from the eyelids. For this purpose, the instrument features a cup-shaped tip with semi-sharp edges that enhance the scraping action. At the conclusion of the procedure, the clamp is removed and pressure is applied to the area of the lesion for hemostasis.
